Why was this site created?

R/ The site was created for two purposes: to fulfill the needs of the thousands of choristers and choir lovers around the world wishing to find their favorite music in quality audio digital versions, and to provide a selling platform for every choir and /or label in the world.

What other information will I find on the web page?

R/ The site will also have editorial content: choral life updates and info for choir maniacs!

What is choral music?

R/ We understand choral music in the same way as the International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM) does, meaning music which is sung by a choir. Each musical part is sung by two or more voices. The choir size varies, can be as few as a quartet of  singers or as large as necessary  to be able to sing the Mahler 8th Symphony!

Which choirs can I find in the platform?

R/ You will find every kind of choir! Kids, youth, adults, mixed, equal voices, small ensembles, chamber choirs, amateurs, professional … everything you can think of!

Where does your recordings come from?

R/ We have agreements with choirs, labels, festivals, competitions, international organizations and individuals that produce choral music.

Which audio formats are available?

R/At the moment we only sell mp3, other formats such as FLAC will be soon available.

How to buy ?

R/ You just need to do your research, add your tracks and/or CDs to the shopping cart and follow the payment instructions.

Is it expensive?

R/ The cost of the digital files is very cheap related to the price of plastic 9,99 euro for a complete single CD and 1,20 euro for a 3 minute track.

If I only want one track do I have to buy the complete CD ?

R/ You may buy either the full CD or a single track. You choose!

How can I pay ?

R/ You can pay with any of the major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard or via PayPal.

Do I own the files once I’ve payed and downloaded ?

R/Once you have downloaded the files you own all the rights over that file as long as it is for a private usage.  You can reproduce it wherever you want : your computer, telephone, ipod, etc

What happens if I lost a file I have already bought ?

R/ You have the right to download the file you have bought only during 5 days after the payment has been made. Take care of it!

Which languages are available?

R/ The site will be available in English, French and Spanish.

How can I sell my music through OpusChoral platform?

R/ You can submit the music of your choir only if you own the rights of the recording. You send the music to our artistic committee and if it fulfills all the quality requirements we will send you all the legal procedures so you can sell your recordings.
